Welcome to the Community of Practice for Instructional Leaders at UTT. This space is designed for faculty to:

1) keep up-to-date on all general academic matters, notices, and announcements via the ‘Faculty Lounge’ Forum.

2) engage and interact with peers in the various interest areas (themes) of UTT’s academic Community of Practice.

This space will have appropriate moderation by relevant personnel from the Office of Undergraduate Studies, the Board for Undergraduate Studies and other volunteer faculty who are members of the community. This will ensure a meaningful experience for all participants within CoPIL. Interest Areas will be supported by Interest Leaders, and the overall CoPIL experience is supported by a planning and management team.

Beyond the Interest Leaders who have a coordinating and supportive role, every member of CoPIL has a role to play in ensuring the community is a vibrant and impactful experience for all. Therefore, eager, authentic, relevant and impactful discussions are encouraged amongst all faculty as everyone has an equal voice and thereby an equaly input. If you want to learn more about CoPIL please visit “CoPIL’s Guidelines” page.

UTT Faculty Lounge

The ‘Faculty Lounge’ forum is a place where announcements and updates will be shared with faculty. Also, it is also a generic forum where you, as faculty, can also ask general questions that are not specifically aligned or germane with the topics areas associated with the Community of Practice for Instructional Leaders. Overall, this is the forum space to keep up-to-date on all matters you need to be aware of, as an academic within UTT.

To login, use the ‘Login with Quicklaunch’ button in the left-hand column.

Once logged in, you will be able to see Faculty Lounge announcements and notices, and faculty lounge general forum discussions
